Introduction
Sanjian Zhang is a PhD student in Interdisciplinary Engineering at Kennesaw State University, working in the Intelligent Biomechanics Lab. His research focuses on modeling and predicting cardiac dynamics using data-driven approaches. Specifically, he studies how to integrate cardiac structures reconstructed from CT/MRI imaging with physiological signals such as blood pressure and clinical variables to model the temporal evolution of cardiac motion across the cardiac cycle. His goal is to develop accurate and reliable models for patient-specific cardiovascular digital twins. His work lies at the intersection of spatiotemporal machine learning, biomedical modeling, and data-driven simulation for real-world healthcare applications.
